The objects of a working day, seen without the urgency of using them. This illustrative study follows vessels, edges and the spaces between them. “After closing” describes the edit’s mood; it does not document a named business or its opening hours.

Production notes

For an equivalent object study, make an inventory and agree which surfaces may be handled. Photograph each arrangement before moving it. A broad view establishes the group; small changes in angle reveal the texture.

Intended use

A closing page in a craft publication, or a short material story accompanying an interior feature.
